Important message for Vision Practices only.
I enclose two important messages for Vision practices relating to automatic submissions via GPES using the SNOMED CT codes, which are being used within NHS Primary Care from April 2018.
Vision practices have two options, details of which are given in the enclosed guidance; the first option is manual submission, the second is to have a delayed automated extraction later this year. The latter would involve, probably a two-month period of delayed payments until later in 2018. Practices can choose their preferred option.
If you are a Vision practice, you should get a message from Vision, and NHS England will provide further updates which the LMC will circulate.
