Hypertension educational events

Dear colleague,

I am delighted to invite you to two educational talks on hypertension by Dr Mike Okorie, Consultant Physician and Associate Medical Director for Medicines Safety & Prescribing at BSUH. Mike is Chair of the British and Irish Hypertension Society (BIHS) Educational Programmes Working Party.

I hope that you will find the sessions helpful and very relevant to your work, such a programme is particularly pertinent with the release of the NICE Hypertension guidelines 2019. This invitation is open to GPs, practice nurses, advanced nurse practitioners, pharmacists and paramedic practitioners.

Venue: Cooden Beach Hotel, Bexhill

Time: From 1830 for food and chat. Presentations start at 1900 and finish at 2030

Dates: Tuesday 26 November 2019 – Hypertension, lipids and cardiovascular risk

Thursday 9 January 2020 – Hypertension, chronic kidney disease and diabetes
