Job summary
Fairlands Medical Centre is seeking a motivated and compassionate Salaried GP for approximately six sessions per week. We would also be pleased to hear from GPs seeking fewer sessions, and job-share applications are welcomed.
We are a thriving three-partner GP training practice serving over 14,000 patients across two modern, purpose-built sites in the semi-rural communities of Fairlands and Normandy, on the outskirts of Guildford
Our practice combines the benefits of a semi-rural location with a diverse patient population, supportive colleagues and well-developed systems that enable GPs to focus on delivering high-quality care.
Why join Fairlands?
We believe that excellent patient care starts with looking after our team and have worked hard to create a practice where clinicians feel supported, valued and able to practise medicine to a high standard. We are proud of our strong team culture, our collaborative approach and the fact that many locums and previous doctors/ trainees choose to return to work with us.
Every day includes our much-loved coffee huddle, providing dedicated time to discuss patients, share ideas, seek advice and support one another. It is a small part of the day that reflects how we work as a practice together.
A strong multi-disciplinary team
You will be supported by an experienced and highly skilled multi-disciplinary team including:
- GP Partners and Salaried GPs
- Advanced Nurse Practitioners
- Clinical Pharmacists
- First Contact Physiotherapists

- An ANP-led home visiting service
- A dedicated referral support team
