Job summary
Cover needed for two times maternity leave starting in either October or December 2026 for 10-12 months for six sessions per week.
We are a 19,300 patient training practice with a varied patient population providing an interesting range of health issues located in Lower Sunbury on the banks of the River Thames. Kingston and Richmond are nearby; transport links are very good with access to the M3 and M25 and regular train access direct to London Waterloo
Responsibilities
Main duties of the job
You will manage a caseload and deal with a wide variety of health needs in a primary care setting working individually and as a team to ensure a high standard of care for all registered and temporary patients as you carry out the associated clinical and administrative duties.

Requirements
Essential criteria
- Qualified GP
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree MRCGP
- Full GMC Registration
- National Performers list registration
- Eligibility to practice in the UK independently
Desirable criteria
- Experience of continued professional development
- Experience of QOF and clinical audit
- Experience of medicines management
- General understanding of the GMS contract
- Experience of clinical supervision and teaching
About us
Our team comprises five Partners, six salaried GPs, one ANP, two Paramedics, two Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technician, five Practice Nurses, two HCAs & three Phlebotomists.
You will also be supported by an excellent administrative and support team. Home visits are carried out by our Paramedics/ ST3s and we are further supported by our Federation funded home visiting service. Our efficient clinical coders process correspondence keeping GP admin down. We are rated good by CQC and we are high QOF achievers. We have daily coffee get togethers for the clinical and management team in the middle of the day, monthly practice team meetings, regular social events, regular educational meetings.
We are members of a successful PCN and GP Federation.
We use EMIS Web, Docman, AccuRX & Ardens.
