GP – Salaried

Job summary

Following the planned retirement of one of our GPs, we are pleased to be advertising for a salaried GP to join our established and supportive clinical team. This is an opportunity to join a practice where we value continuity of care, collaborative working and a positive working environment.

Located in a pleasant Surrey setting with excellent transport links, Sunbury Health Centre Group Practice provides high-quality care to approximately 19,300 patients and has a strong reputation for teamwork, and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a committed GP who:

• Delivers high-quality, patient-centred care
• Works effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
• Has excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Is enthusiastic about service development and continuous improvement
• Values collaborative working and continuity of care

The role includes a mix of routine and acute appointments, participation in clinical triage to support timely access to care and effective patient navigation with opportunities to develop special interests and contribute to teaching, supervision, or service innovation.

Requirements

Essential criteria

• Qualified GP
• MBBS or equivalent medical degree MRCGP
• Full GMC registration
• National Performers list registration
• Eligibility to practice in the UK

Desirable criteria

• Experience of continued professional development
• Experience of QOF and clinical audit
• Experience of medicine management
• General understanding of the GMS contract
• Experience of clinical supervision and teaching
