Job summary
We are recruiting a salaried GP to join our friendly and progressive practice. The post is available as either a four or five session position. The core working days are Tuesday and Friday, with an optional Wednesday morning session available for applicants wishing to undertake a fifth session. This working pattern is ideal for GPs wishing to combine clinical practice with portfolio careers, medical education, leadership roles, family commitments or other professional interests.
Responsibilities
- List holder
- Face-to-face and telephone consultations
- Participation in the practice triage system
- Routine and urgent appointments
- Home visits where required
- Reviewing pathology results and clinical correspondence
- Managing referrals and follow-up care
- Repeat prescribing and medicines optimisation
- Managing long-term conditions alongside our nursing and multi-disciplinary teams
- Sharing clinical administration fairly across the GP team
- Working collaboratively to deliver safe, effective and compassionate patient care

Requirements
- Full GMC registration and licence to practise
- NHS Performers list
- MRCGP (or equivalent)

Dapdune House Surgery is a well-established GP training practice serving the Guildford community.
