Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within AshLea Medical Practice for a six session salaried GP to join our team.

We are a two site practice in Ashtead and Leatherhead in Surrey, with ten partners and approximately sixty staff, our multi-disciplinary team includes GP Partners, Associate GPs, GPwSIs, Clinical Pharmacists, Physiotherapists, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Paramedic and a multi-skilled Practice Nurse team.

We serve approximately 20,000 patients and have close links and are actively involved in the Leatherhead Primary Care Network and DHC GP Federation.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established training practice that values teamwork, innovation and professional development. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centred care within a modern General Practice setting
• Undertake routine and urgent clinical consultations using our established patient triage model
• Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records using EMIS Web
• Participate in clinical meetings, educational events and Practice Learning Time (PLT) sessions
• Work collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team to support excellent outcomes for patients
• Engage with quality improvement activities, teaching opportunities and Practice developments where appropriate

Requirements

• Fully qualified GP with inclusion on the GMC General Practitioner register
• Inclusion on the NHS England Performers list
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, patient-focused care
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
