Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our busy practice in the heart of Surbiton, Surrey. We are ideally seeking candidates available for four sessions, preferably Tuesday and Friday, however we are flexible and willing to consider alternative days for the right individual.
The successful candidate will be able to deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all patients. They will possess knowledge and skills that enable them to work in this environment, which can at times be pressurised.
Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of medical services as defined in the GMS contract
- Conduct face-to-face and telephone appointments, health assessments, chronic disease management, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up
- Deal with workflow queries, blood results, prescriptions, medical reports and Docman correspondence
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, partners and external organisations
- Participate in practice meetings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

We are a medium sized NHS training practice, 11,000 patients located in the heart of Surbiton, Surrey. We have a wide-ranging clinical team including 3 GP Partners, 5 Salaried GP’s, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 HCA’s, plus a broad range of established allied healthcare professionals including a Pharmacy Team, First Contact Practitioners, Social Prescribers and Care Coordinators.
We also offer an In-house counselling service run by our Psychology Lead.
