Job summary
Lightwater Surgery are excited to offer a Salaried GP position of five or six sessions across three days. This is a permanent, part time opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
- Conduct face-to-face appointments, regular check-ups, health assessments, and chronic disease management
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in practice meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of services
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices
Requirements
- Fully qualified and registered with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Experience using EMIS Web preferred
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate GP to join us for a permanent salaried position.
We are a well established training practice led by six GP Partners, supported by four Salaried GPs and a skilled nursing team of four Practice Nurses who deliver our chronic disease management clinics. Our Clinical Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician work closely with the wider team to optimise patient care and support medication management.
As a committed training environment, we provide development opportunities for F2 doctors, GP trainees, medical students and trainee nurses, fostering a supportive and collaborative learning culture.
