Job summary
We are looking for 2 team-orientated GPs to join us from April/May 2026, covering 8 sessions per week as follows:
Monday – am & pm till 7.30pm
Tuesday – am & pm
Wednesday – pm
Thursday – pm
Friday – am
The GP will hold sessions that will comprise of 13 patient encounters, with a range of telephone and face to face appointments. Management of EPS, labs & document workflow which is shared between clinicians on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion
- Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation
- Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
- Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
- Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols
- Providing counselling and health education
- Admitting or discharging patients to and from the caseload and referring to other care providers as appropriate
- Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards
- Collecting data for audit purposes
- Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions (avoiding hand-written prescriptions whenever possible)
Requirements
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice and entry on the GP register
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice/certificate confirming eligibility for General Practice
- MRCGP
- Completion of a vocational GP training scheme
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience of providing primary care in and out of hours

Roselawn Surgery are looking for a General Practitioner to join a dynamic, well-established practice in New Malden.
The clinical team comprises a team of five GPs, one ANP, two Clinical Pharmacists, two Practice Nurses, two HCAs, one FCP, one Social Prescriber, one Mental Health Practitioner and one GP Assistant.
Roselawn is a well established GP Surgery, which is based near the bustling New Malden high street.
The surgery is based within the New Malden and Worcester Park Primary Care Network and provides care to in excess of 7,000 patients.
Roselawn is part of the New Malden and Worcester Park Primary Care Network (PCN) and received a ‘Good’ CQC rating following it’s last inspection.
