GP Locum

Job summary

Locum GP required to cover a 6 month period April to end of September 2026. We require 4 sessions per week on a Wednesday and Friday.

The GP will be working with a supportive Practice team both clinically and administratively whilst delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse population, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care through appointments, home visits, and results management
• The practice is now working total online triage which has been well received by patients
• Prescribe safely and manage clinical correspondence alongside all administrative work load
• Participate in clinical/practice team meetings
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMIS Web
• Contribute to a supportive, professional practice environment

Requirements

• GMC registered with a licence to practise
• On the NHS England GP performers list
• Committed to high-quality, patient-centred care
• A positive team player with good communication skills
• Enhanced DBS
• Ability to embrace digital technology
