GP Salaried – Maternity leave cover

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and compassionate GP to join our thriving, patient-focused team at Camberley Health Centre, GU15 2QA. To provide maternity cover for 12 months starting in January 2026 for 6 sessions a week working Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, covering alternative Friday duty surgery 17:00 – 18:30 as well as approximately 1 Saturday session per year.

Responsibilities

Main duties of the role

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based primary care services
• Manage acute and chronic conditions with a holistic, patient-centred approach
• Work collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team
• Contribute to clinical meetings, audits, and service development
• Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold high standards of confidentiality

Requirements

Essential

• GMC registration and inclusion on the NHS Performers List
• Experience working in UK general practice
• Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to quality improvement and compassionate patient care

Desirable

• Familiarity with EMIS Web

We are a well-established practice with a patient list of approximately 9,800. Our team includes 4 Partners, 3 Salaried GPs, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 2 Clinical Pharmacists, a Pharmacy Technician, a dedicated Nursing team, a supportive Management team, and an excellent Admin/Reception team.

We are a training practice.

We use Emis web, Docman 10, AccuRx, Rapid Health online consultation.
