We are looking for a qualified GP to join Parklands Surgery. We are a well-established practice, located in the heart of Chichester. We’re proud of our strong team ethos, and we’re looking for a dedicated GP to join us for ideally six sessions per week.
You’ll be joining a friendly and experienced team that includes:
- 3 GP Partners
- 2 Salaried Doctors
- 1 GP Registrar
- 6 Nurses
- 2 Paramedics
- 3 Healthcare Assistants

Salary dependent on experience.

Responsibilities
As a Salaried GP at Parklands Surgery, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to a defined list of patients, working as part of our multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing general medical services to patients, including face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations
- Managing acute presentations, long-term conditions (LTCs), and chronic disease clinics in line with QOF and practice protocols
- Taking the lead in the management of patients with frailty, severe mental illness (SMI), end-of-life care, and palliative care needs, supported by the wider clinical team
- Reviewing and actioning pathology results, clinical correspondence, and workflow items for your own patient list
- Participating in the practice duty doctor rota and home visits as required
- Supporting the ongoing education and supervision of trainees, including GP registrars and other clinical learners
- Contributing to clinical meetings, significant event reviews, and practice audits to maintain and improve quality of care
- Working collaboratively with our nursing, paramedic, and administrative teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care
- Maintaining accurate and contemporaneous patient records using TPP SystmOne
- Adhering to current clinical and information governance standards and following all practice policies and procedures

Requirements
Essential
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List
- UK GP training completion and MRCGP qualification (or equivalent)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred clinical care
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive approach to clinical governance, audit, and continuous professional development (CPD)
Desirable
- Experience with TPP SystmOne
- Interest or experience in areas such as frailty, end-of-life care, long-term condition management, or teaching/mentoring trainees
- Willingness to participate in practice development and quality improvement initiatives
- An enthusiasm for innovation, teamwork, and supporting the wider primary care network
