Job summary
This well-established, friendly and progressive practice is seeking a GP to join our existing team. We are supportive, educational with great team spirit and recognise the importance of work-life balance.
Start date negotiable between October and December 2025.
Responsibilities
- Providing health assessments and advice, diagnosis and treatment, prescribing medication, referrals to secondary or community care and performing minor surgery
- Patient list size pro rata to 1,900 per WTE
- Assistance with on-call and duty doctor rota
- Assistance with audit and QOF work
Requirements
- GMS Practice
- 4 GP Partners, 5 salaried GPs
- List size 11,800
- Low home visit rate (carried out by Paramedics)
- Excellent patient feedback and high satisfaction in surveys
- CQC Rating – GOOD in all areas
- On site Community Teams
- Active PPG
- EMIS clinical system
- Efficient highly supportive nursing and admin teams, 1 ACP, 2 Paramedics, 3 First Contact Physiotherapists, a team of Pharmacists, Mental Health Workers and Clinical Coders
- Training practice. Involvement in medical student training
- Active and successful PCN
- Neighbourhood working initiatives
