Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team recently voted Number 1 Practice in Surrey in the National Patient Survey. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting the medical staff, and ensuring that patients receive the attention and treatment they need.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans.
- Assist in the management of chronic diseases and provide education to patients regarding their conditions.
- Conduct health screenings and physical examinations, documenting findings accurately.
- Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
- Provide support and guidance to patients regarding health promotion and disease prevention.
- Participate in continuous professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
Requirements
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing licence.
– Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
– Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not essential.
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
– Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
– A genuine passion for patient care and commitment to improving health outcomes.
