Salaried GP

Job summary

We are building a team of committed GP’s for an exciting new venture. Our existing premises will be moving to a brand-new clinic at Preston Barracks with expected list size growth from the university as well as existing registered patients. We are therefore looking for enthusiastic GP’s who are interested in joining and helping to shape our journey.
There are also opportunities for leadership progression as Clinical Lead and potential for flexibility of job plan mixing remote work and f2f work or even out-of-hours home visiting shifts within our other services if desirable.

Responsibilities

• We have a list size of ~5300 patients
• There are 2 other salaried GP’s on site
• Face to face clinics with 15 minute appointments for f2f and 10 for telephone calls
• Young population with rare need to home visit

Requirements

We are seeking GP’s ideally looking for 0.5-1.0 FTE but we can discuss other working patterns.

• Salary of £14k per half day (4.75hrs) – we pay for the admin time between sessions, therefore we pay you for more than the standard 4hr10min BMA session, so you feel renumerated for the whole time you are on site.
• So a 6 session week will pay £84k/annum
