Job Summary
A role within General Practice. To assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate healthcare in a courteous, efficient and effective way. Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
Duties
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Liaise with our Care Homes
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate department or individual
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Professional appearance and demeanour
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experienced emis user- Required
- Interest in the search and reports module -Prefered
