Practice policy
It is important to have a policy which is in line with the Reasonable Adjustment Digital Flag Standards and to amend any other impacted policies you may have. Your policy could include:
- a comprehensive approach to identifying and ongoing reviews of patients with reasonable adjustments
- a clear process for recording identified requirements and sharing with the SPINE
Practices may be asked for evidence from CQC to demonstrate compliance with the identification and coding of the digital flag. This may include how your team are kept up-to-date with or trained on the policy.
