Job summary
A forward-thinking, innovative practice by the sea
We are a well-established, friendly practice caring for around 12,600 patients on the coast just east of Brighton. Our surgery occupies the ground floor of the iconic Art Deco Grand Ocean building, a short walk from the chalk cliffs and the undercliff path.
Our clinical team is four GP partners and five salaried GPs, supported by practice nurses, healthcare assistants, clinical pharmacists, an advanced nurse practitioner and a paramedic. We are part of Deans & Central Brighton Primary Care Network.
Why GPs join us
- A real team. Partners and salaried GPs work side by side, with daily clinical support and an open-door culture
- Protected workload. Our multi-disciplinary team shares the load, including most home visits by our paramedic and workflow and document management by trained admin staff
- Continuity of care. Every patient has a named GP, so you build relationships with the people you look after
- Modern access. Online requests through Accurx help patients reach the right clinician first time
- Room to grow. Development and special interests are encouraged, with opportunities to teach medical students from Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
- Location. Seaside living with Brighton, the South Downs and London (about an hour by train) on the doorstep
