Job summary
Salaried GP post-holders duties will include all normal GMS work and manage a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
This will include being duty doctor and/or home visiting doctor weekly as per the rota requirements and extended access as required.
This salaried GP role will be part of an extended clinical team which consists of GP Partners, salaried GPs, Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Paramedic), Pharmacists and a Nursing team.
Responsibilities
In accordance with the practice needs in providing general practice services for the community, the salaried GP plays a key role within the practice team and the wider MDT team to facilitate delivery of safe, effective patient care whilst contributing to quality improvement and services development.
This is an opportunity for a GP to join an established practice with a supportive environment where innovation, teamwork and continuous improvement are valued.
The practice has a hybrid online triage system currently using Accurx alongside EMIS clinical system and DOCMAN.
The GP clinical team have a mix of face to face, telephone and remote consultations.
Requirements
- Qualified General Practitioner
- Inclusion on NHS Performers list
- Current GMC registration with license to practice
- Evidence of annual appraisal and revalidation
- Eligibility to work independently in the UK
Desirable
- Experience of digital triage
- Interest in clinical leadership, quality improvement, service development
- Experience in supervising or supporting other health care practitioners
