Newtons Practice is looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated GP to join our practice team.

- 4 sessions per week – preferably Thursday and Friday
- Starting salary negotiable depending on experience
- Run off Indemnity fees reimbursed
- £250 annual training budget
- £1000 Golden Hello upon successful completion of the probationary period
- Generous holiday allowance – 7 weeks annual leave and 1 week study leave (pro rata)
- Approx. 15,000 patients, CQC rated – Good
- Low demand for home visits
- Session appointment mixture of F2F (15mins) and telephone (10mins).
- Time set aside daily for clinical huddle/coffee
- EMIS Web, Docman, AccuRx
- Practice clinicians: 5 GP Partners, 7 Salaried GPs
- 5 Paramedic Practitioners, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 HCA, Pharmacy Team
- Active involvement in the PCN DES with a full complement of ARRS staff
- PCN Additional Roles staff: Pharmacists, Pharmacy Tech, First Contact Physio, Social Prescribers, Paramedic
- Half day Duty Doctor sessions only, with support from experienced Paramedic Practitioner team
- Full complement of supportive and committed admin staff
- Experienced workflow team and pharmacy team who deal with clinical correspondence, reducing GP involvement
- High standards and high achievement for QOF, enhanced services etc.
- Training practice with opportunities to become involved in training (FY2, Registrars, Medical Students, Pharmacists, Paramedics)
- Encouragement to develop individual interests and skills

Applications welcome from newly qualified and experienced GPs. We have an excellent retention rate for our newly qualified GPs who are supported/mentored by experienced GPs. Regular clinical meetings and training events are held. You will be supported to develop your own medical interests or to follow portfolio careers. The practice ethos is to provide exceptional patient care whilst maintaining an excellent supportive working environment for our team.
