CANCELLATION OF THE GPC/LMC GP CONTRACT AGREEMENT ROADSHOWS

I am very sorry to be making this decision but the planned Surrey and Sussex LMC Roadshows (including the GPC Roadshow on 17th March) are being cancelled.

You will appreciate this decision has been made in the light of advice from the BMA and PHE that such meetings create an increased risk of spreading Coronavirus, and obviously there is a heightened sensitivity in relation to gatherings involving General Practitioners and Practice/Business Managers , who are critical to the continuing provision of patient care within General Practice

I will circulate the LMCs planned presentation next week, and the LMC is looking to provide a Webinar and commentary on the presentation, together with opportunities for colleagues to ask questions.  Further details of this will be available shortly.

It is likely there will soon be national announcements on contractual requirements being asked of General Practice during the Coronavirus epidemic.

The LMC will also look to rearrange the Roadshows when it is appropriate to do so.
