There are many good reasons for providing an effective appraisal system for your staff: giving positive feedback, providing motivation, improving performance, identifying development needs, resolving minor problems, allowing staff to comment on work issues, etc. The aim of this one-day workshop is to help ensure your appraisals are truly effective, whether you are introducing them for the first time or considering a revamp of an existing system.
The workshop will consider:

• Introducing an appraisal system
• Using competencies to develop staff
• Appraisal skills:
listening skills
constructive criticism
motivation
setting goals and objectives
• Getting the paperwork right
• Performance motivation
